The General Department of Information Technology, in cooperation with the Deanship of faculty members and staff, has launched e-release letter service for the university stakeholders. The aim of the new service is to facilitate following up the release letter, and it has been activated in order to save both effort and time which used to be wasted in the traditional way. Furthermore, the service ends the trouble of searching for the authority and its approval. In addition, the new way saves the efforts exerted to follow up the status of a request by an employee or an administrative staff. The service allows the user to send SMS on mobile to the heads of departments and officials in order to review the applications referred to them.

The most important advantage of the service:

  • It facilitates the follow-up of the release letter, and it determines who is working on the request.
  • It sends text messages on mobile for heads of departments and officials; in order to review the applications referred to them.
  • it has the ability to cut off the salary automatically by salary administration officers when requesting the release letter.
