Scientific meeting for health personnel.
Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of King Khalid University Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Al Dawood, the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences for Girls in Mahayal Asir, is preparing to conduct the 2nd scientific meeting for health personnel under the slogan " evidence and proof-based practice" The meeting takes place in Prince Nayef civilized Center in Mahayal Asir, from the 5th to the 6th of this month, 1436 AH.
Many Faculties are going to participate in the meeting, such as the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Pharmacy, in addition to the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha, Alnamas, Khamis, and Bisha. Other Faculties that will participate in the meeting are the faculties of medicine and Nursing from the University of Albaha, and the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Umm Al-Qura.
The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Mahayal Asir, Dr. Mona Mohammed Mujahid revealed that "the aim of the meeting is to improve the quality of health care services. In addition, the meeting aims to exchange scientific experiences, to communicate with health care providers, to discuss future opportunities for the use of evidence - based practice in health care institutions, and to encourage health care providers to adopt continuing education approach". She further pointed out that the meeting targeted doctors, nurses and technicians in the field of health care, in addition to the teaching staff of all health areas, and the students of health colleges.
