42 scientific participation in King Khalid Chair which held its 3rd Scientific Meeting in Abha.
Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Asir Province, the King Khalid Chair for Scientific Research, which is embraced by King Khalid University, had its 3rd Scientific Meeting of the King Khalid history. The meeting was entitled "scientific and cultural movement in Saudi Arabia during the reign of King Khalid (1395 - 1402) AH, corresponding to 1975 - 1982 AD" The meeting took place on Wednesday and Thursday 12 - 13 /6/ 1436 AH in Abha Palace Hotel.
The Supervisor on the chair, Dr. Ahmad bin Yahya Al Va'e stated that "Preparations for the meeting took a long time. First, we got the approval, then the meeting was announced through all different media." Al Va'e noted that the scientific participation exceeded 55 from which 42 scientific research participation were accepted. Researchers have been addressed to send their scientific researches to the Chair on time. Scientific papers were distributed through 8 sessions over the two days. The Supervisor further said, "Regulatory Commission of the meeting was formed under the supervision of the Rector Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, the Vice - President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr Majid Al Harbi, in addition to a number of representative members to related authorities at the university."
