University launches "awareness" program to encourage young people to invest their talents.

King Khalid University represented by the club of the Faculty of Engineering, launched an "awareness" program in collaboration with the Khotoot Studio. The aim of the program is to raise awareness among the community through arranging a series of meetings that were prepared as action points of the program. These meetings sought to urge young people to invest their talents and energies, in addition to recruiting their abilities and giving them the chance to benefit themselves and their country.

The Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Student Activities of the University, Dr. Nasser Al Gomishan explained that "the Deanship seeks to provide full support for young talents, through the student activities at various colleges". He directed his speech to the targeted group saying "the road to success must be accompanied by some of the difficulties that the innovator must overcome, depending on his / her creativity." The program was attended by the founder of YouTube channel "Rwaya," the comedian - Saleh Abu Amra, - who spoke about his experience in Rwaya program. He said, "The idea began long ago, with the beginnings of the new media revolution, but at first I did not have the potential and experience in the media field, acting or filmmaking. So, I decided to keep the idea until I find the right environment to let it show up. Afterward, I moved to Abha, from where I learned the basics of this field." Abu Amra who is 26 years old clarified that "life is not rosy or furnished with flowers, but marred by some of the suffering, the difficulties, problems, and drawbacks". Thus, life requires response with full force. "Success is only for those who keep going" he added.

In his turn, the presenter of "Ma yeseer" program, Adel Massoud, confirmed that young people were the elements of positive change. He called on young people to develop their abilities and potential first, and put confidence and strength in their opinions and thoughts. He stressed further on the need to involve stakeholders of young people, in all development plans and project, through planning, design, and implementation.
