University President Launches IT Services and Honors DFS Hackathon Winners

In an ongoing endeavor to achieve complete digital transformation in the university, His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, launched, in the University City in Al-Fara’a, a collection of E-Services developed by the General Administration of Information Technology (IT).  Al-Solami, commended the efforts made by the IT Administration in integrating with the various university bodies to achieve digital transformation. He stressed that the world of technology is constantly evolving, and requires the university to keep abreast of this development.

During the event, His Excellency honored the winners of the Digital Future Skills Bootcamp's Hackathon, the IT team, and the supporting departments.

On his part, CIO of the IT Administration, Dr. Hamed Alqahtani, explained that the launched services composed of KKU Awards, E-Employee Promotion System, E-Contract System, in addition to Academic Skills Bank, Follow-Up Service, and Year of Privilege Service for Medical Students.
