University Signs Cooperation Agreement to Provide Learning Products to Students in Installments

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, attended the signing of a cooperation agreement between the university and the  Adlas Publishing and Printing  Company. This agreement comes as   part of the Deanship of Student Affairs and the University’s English Language Teaching Center efforts  to provide printed and electronic educational products related to  English  language  learning such as books and tests.

 

During the sining of the agreement the university was represented by the university vice president of Educational and Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Dajam, while the on Adlas Printing and publishing Company was represented by  the company  general manager, Dr. Saleh Al-Shaya.

 

On his part the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Ali Al-Qahtani, explained that the agreement extends for 3 years, and includes providing  easy and accessible  ways for university students to obtain learning products from direct sales points that the company will provide inside the university or on their online store. He pointed  that the most prominent terms of the agreement include the implementation of tests determining English language proficiency for students,  in addition to providing  original English language books through an easy installment  payment system.

 

The Director of the English Language Teaching Center at the university, Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani, stressed  that the placement test available  is the Cambridge English Placement Test to measure language proficiency in English language skills, presented by Cambridge University Press and Assessment. The test determines  the level of English proficiency  for those admitted to the university and  accelerating the academic plans of  advanced  students.
