KKU Hosts the GCC Twentieth e-Learning Meeting

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, attended  the launch of  the twentieth GCC e-learning  meeting  which will be held in the university city of Al-Qaraa  for a two day period.

 

At the beginning of the meeting,His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof.  Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, launched  the work of the meeting on Wednesday at the University City in Al-Qara’a, where he welcomed the university’s guests and  praised their  efforts during the  pandemic, he extended his appreciation towards the efforts and support devoted to education by the  leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, he  also stressed that e-learning is an important educational medium that  must receive great attention in the modern day we live in today. He also congratulating everyone on the successes achieved in dealing with the Corona crisis and opening up prospects for e-learning as an important educational tool.

 

On his part the  Dean of e-learning Deanship  at the university, Dr. Adel Qahmesh, confirmed that the meeting will  include 4  sessions that will   review a number of publications and experiments, as well as plans and future mechanisms. He noted  that the sessions generally focus on improving the e-learning process and highlighted   databases and indicators  that support the adoption of E-learning patterns based on experiences.

 

It is noteworthy that this meeting is  the first  e-learning meeting for  universities and higher education institutions in the  GCC countries after the Corona pandemic.
