University President Visits Asir Plant Formula Cosmetics Workshop
His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, recently visited the College of Pharmacy, “ Asir Plants Formula Cosmetics workshop, which is part of the "Ithra" program which was recently launched by the college of Pharmacy as part of the postgraduate program facilities.
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Saiari, explained that the workshop aimed to offer students an opportunity to formulate cosmetic products through the use of Asir Region plants and substances.
During the workshop, 16 types of liquid and solid soaps were produced from extracts of natural plants and aromatic scents from Asir aromatic plants, and 14 types of creams were prepared between hair creams and face creams from natural extracts and aromatic plant aromas.
It is noteworthy that the College of Pharmacy cosmetology masters program was open this year and the students have joined the program.
