University Council Sixth Meeting
On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, chaired today, Wednesday, the sixth meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1443, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and members of the Council.
The Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni explained that the council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary recommendations in their regard.
Al-Qarni added, that one of the most prominent recommendations taken by the Council at its sixth meeting was approving the terms admission conditions and programs for the academic year 1444 AH. As well as amending the names of some master’s programs in the departments of “Special Education” and “Educational Techniques” at the College of Education, and approving the adoption of A number of aspects from the alternative revenue account.
Al-Qarni added, that during the meeting the council approved the renewal of a number of internal cooperation agreements , and the establishment of a scientific center for the history of the Asir region, named (Asir Region History Center) as well as approving the promotions of some university employees.
