A Meeting Held with FAO
King Khalid University, represented by Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Center for Research and Environmental Studies and Tourism, recently met with a team from the Sustainable Rural Development Program, and a team from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The Director of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Center for Research and Environmental Studies and Tourism, Dr. Rahma Al Shahrani, explained that the three parties discussed joint research cooperation opportunities, to use natural resources and regional agricultural products.
The parties also discussed the aromatic and economic plants of the region, and the possibility of developing agricultural projects to increase the productivity and quality of the regions plants, which impact the agricultural environment in Asir.
