Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Salami, the college of Medicine held a virtual scientific symposium entitled " The latest developments of Covid 19 ... after a year of pandemic."
His Excellency the University President welcomed the guests of the symposium , and thanked the college for organizing the event, he praised the Kingdom’s approach in dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic, stressing that the Kingdom's experience represents a model approach for the rest of the world.
On his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Sulaiman bin Muhammad Al-Hamid, explained that symposium was held out of necessity to discuss and spread the awareness on the latest developments of the virus and its complications and the ways to treat and prevent it, stressing that the college will organize an awareness seminar on the virus and importance of taking vaccines in both Arabic and English next week
