His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh Al Solamy, issued a number of administrative appointments and recruitment decisions in September 2020. He congratulated the recently assigned, wishing them all the best.

University Spokesperson Dr. Mufleh Al-Qahtani explained that the faculty member decisions included:

• Extension: Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Adadhi as the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs at the College of Business;
• Appointment: Dr. Salama Bint Musleh Al-Qahtani as the Vice Dean of the female section of the Faculty of Languages and Translation;
• Extension: Dr. Mohammed bin Yahya Abu Dahhamiah as the Vice Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research for External Support and Research Partnerships;
• Appointment: Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Hattan as the Vice Dean of Student Affairs at the University Branch in Tehama;
• Appointment: Dr. Abdulrahman bin Muhammad Al-Harthi as the Vice Dean of Human Resources;
• Appointment: Dr. Amal Bint Hussain Al Mushait as the Vice Dean of the Female section of the Community College in Khamis Mushait;
• Appointment: Dr. Abdulrahman bin Yahya Al-Qarfi as Vice Dean of Human Resources Planning at the Deanship of Human Resources;
• Extension: Dr. Muhammad Al-Shahrani as the General Supervisor of the General Administration of Scholarship Students;
• Extension: Dr. Fatima Ali Al-Zahrani as the Vice Dean of the female section of the Center of Talent, Creativity and Entrepreneurship;
• Extension: Dr. Adwaa Bint Ali Al-Ahmari as the Supervisor of the Curriculum and Plans Unit;
• Appointment: Dr. Khairiya bint Muhammad Al Hassan as the Supervisor of the History Department at the female College of Humanities;
• Appointment: Dr. Nada Bint Moqbel Al-Baidani as the Supervisor of the female section of the Administration and Educational Supervision Department;
• Appointment: Dr. Kamilah Bint Ali Al Muqbel as the Supervisor of the Islamic Studies Department at the female College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion;
• Appointment: Dr. Aisha Yahya Abu Sabaa as the Supervisor of the Sunnah and its Sciences Department at the Female College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion;
• Appointment: Dr. Hind Bint Sa'ad Al-Qahtani as the Supervisor of Islamic Jurisprudence Department at the female College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion;
• Extension: Dr. Khadija Bint Abboud Al Maadi as the Assistant Supervisor the Guidance and Counseling Unit at the female section of the Deanship of Student Affairs;
• Appointment: Dr. Yahya bin Hassan Al Faliqi as the Head of the Ophthalmology Departments at the College of Medicine;
• Extension: Dr. Farid Bin Faie Al Faei as the Head of the Orthopedic Department at the College of Medicine;
• Extension: Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Al-Qarni as the Head of the Islamic Jurisprudence Department at the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion;
• Appointment: Dr. Ghaidaa Bint Ali Al-Amari as Head of the Home Economics Department the female College of Science and Arts in Mahayel Asir;
• Extension: Dr. Badr bin Rashid Al-Ghamdi as Head of the Internal Medicine Department at the College of Medicine;
• Extension: Dr. Fahd bin Hassan Al Hashem as Head of the Physiology Department at the College of Medicine;
• Extension: Dr. Awad bin Saeed Al Samghan as Head of the Biochemistry Department at the College of Medicine;
• Appointment: Dr. Abdulaziz bin Awad Al-Asmari as the Head of the Surgery Department at the College of Medicine;
• Appointment: Dr. Ali bin Jubran Al-Haramleh as Head of the Educational Technologies Department at the College of Education;
• Appointment: Dr. Hassan bin Ali Al-Zahrani as Head of the Medical Education Department at the College of Medicine;
• Appointment: Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Amri as Head of the Geography Department at the College of Humanities;
• Extension: Dr. Saeed bin Mastour Al-Shahrani as Head of the Basic Medical Sciences Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha;
• Appointment: Dr. Hamid bin Majdou' Al-Qarni as Head of the Physics Department at the College of Science, in addition to his work as Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research.
