The Deanship of Scientific Research at King Khalid University participated with four research-related courses as a part of the summer 2020 Mobaderoon project. The 16-hour course targeted researchers and faculty members. The Deanship of Scientific Research aims to transform how faculty members are prepared for research in accord with its vision.

Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Hamid Majdou' Al-Qarni, explained that the programs were delivered online following the protocols implemented due to COVID-19. He pointed out that the programs benefited 11K, with nearly 3K participating from abroad. He then thanked the teams who contributed to implementing these courses. "The Deanship was eager to deliver Arabic and English courses, focusing on the concepts and foundations of scientific research writing, publishing, and modern academic writing. The courses also tackled the effective methods for increasing the classification standards for the researchers of the institution. We also covered methods and mechanisms for selecting classified journals, and how to convert scientific research to a product which can be marketed," said Dean Al-Qarni.

It is worth mentioning that these programs were attended by the faculty members and professors from renowned American and British universities. At the end of each course, recordings were posted on the Tamkeen YouTube channel.
