Deanship of Admissions and Registration Announces Key Dates

The Deanship of Admissions and Registration at King Khalid University announced the dates and mechanisms of schedule processing. According to the plan approved by the Ministry of Education and the University for the fall 2020 semester, requests will be available for all students and visitors through Academia and Tawasul services.

 

Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdulmohsen Algarni, confirmed the necessity of committing to the announced dates and benefiting from the electronic services available on Academia. He explained that his team created a service "Adding and Dropping a Course Request" to add and drop a course during this semester. Moreover, he noted that they are also to process the schedules of individual cases like graduate students, students who are near incomplete, and those who did not complete the semester's required course hours.

 

The schedules will be posted on Thursday the 1st of Muharram, and adding/dropping courses will be available through (the service of adding and dropping a course) till the 5th of Muharram. Adding and dropping courses for graduate students will be available through Academia on the 1st and 2nd of Muharram. As for the 38th batch and the batches before, it will be on the 2nd and 3rd of Muharram. Dropping and adding would be available to all students through Academia from the 3rd till the 5th of Muharram, the service would be available through Tawasul from the 5th till the 7th of Muharram.

 

The Deanship of Admissions and Registration made registration for visitor students from KKU to other universities from the 20th of Dhul Hijjah till the 10th of Muharram. As for visitor students from other universities to KKU, the registration will be available from the 20th of Dhul Hijjah till the 15th of Muharram. The Deanship also provided services for postponement and re-registration from the 20th Dhul al-Hijjah until the 17th of Muharram.
