Students of the College of Arts and Science in Majardah Support Tihama Entities with Applications and Websites

The students of the  College of Arts and Science in Majardah, carried out 13 graduation projects, which work as service projects for various local community bodies in the Tihama sector.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Maha Muhammad Al-Shehri, explained  that eight out of 13 project have been completed, and  that five remaining  projects will be completed and delivered by the end of the current academic year.

 

The college held four  partnerships  with  local authorities, represented by the Education Office in Al-Majardah Governorate, the Governorate Youth Committee, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and Al-Majardah General Hospital.

 

On her part, the Head of the Computer Science Department at the college, Dr. Manahil Omar Hussein, said that the projects varied between applications and websites  that serve the medical, agricultural and environmental sectors, as well as projects that serve the tourism and tourist  sector. She stressed  that the students who submitted the projects had a desire  employ their  skills  to serve their community and develop the services that contribute to the people in the region .

 

It is worth noting that  the College of Arts and Science in Majardah has held  many diverse community initiatives during the past period, which aim to raise the level of awareness and enhance the  skills of the members of the community.
