King Khalid University, represented by the KKUx platform, signed a
memorandum of cooperation with the National eLearning Center (NeLC).
This cooperation aims to showcase and provide access to the university's
e-learning training programs within the content of the NeLC platform
"FutureX", which will be available for NeLC beneficiaries. Furthermore,
the platform will be showcased and popularized to bodies and individuals
by the NeLC. 

 

In the presence of the University Vice President of the Business and
Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif Al-Hadithi, and the NeLC General
Director, Dr. Abdullah Al-Walidi, the signing took place. Representing
the university in signing the agreement was the Design and Digital
Platforms Unit Director, Dr. Naif Jabali while the NeLC was represented
by its Customer Success Department Deputy General Director, Dr. Hajar
bin Asfour. 

 

On his part, Dr. Jabali stressed that the cooperation agreement comes to
achieve the roles of the two parties in promoting integration and
innovation in e-learning, in addition to enabling the two bodies to reach
their target audience. He also noted that the agreement contributes to
enhancing the effectiveness of the E-Learning outcomes and the
education-employment complementarity. Providing the university's
courses and programs within the NeLC platform "FutureX", Jabali
explained, is a key step for the university to achieve its role in providing
educational and training courses and programs for everyone, noting that
the agreement included a number of contracts and investments projects
for the platform. 

 

It is worth mentioning that the "KKUx" platform aims to enhance the
crucial skills of beneficiaries to prepare them for their future careers,
keeping abreast of the aspirations of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Further,
the platform aims to contribute to providing educational opportunities by
providing educational and training content in a high-quality electronic
format and in accordance with international standards. More than 130,000 users benefit from the platform, which in its regard offers more than 40
online training courses and professional certificates.
