His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul-Aziz, the Governor of Aseer Region, patronized the graduation ceremony of the 19th class of students from King Khalid University (KKU). His Highness, Prince Faisal was received by His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University, Dr. Faleh Bin Rajaa Allah Al Solamy, Rector of Bisha University, Dr. Ahmed bin Hamed Nqadi, Rector of Jazan University, Dr. Marai Bin Hussein Al Qahtani, and a number of officials in Aseer Region, the University Council and a number of KKU employees.
On His Highness's arrival, verses from the Holy Quran was read, followed by the graduates' march. Rector Al-Solamy delivered a speech in which he welcomed the Governor of Aseer; the patron of the ceremony and all the attendees. He said: "Today, our university boasts a group of its children. On the other hand, we have believed that there is value must be added to the personality of university students and may be a competitive advantage in the labor market and the field of construction. The University, through its activities, programs, and events, was keen on building capacity, evaluating behavior, guiding thinking, and discovering talent, so as to get a sort of talent that is merged to knowledge and that is able to employ it properly."
Al Solamy added, "The celebration of graduation coincides this year with great mobility at the national level. It is an ambitious young vision. We started to move towards our desired goal," said Al-Solami, in addition to another achievement at the regional level represented in choosing Abha as the capital of Arabian tourism for 2017." Al-Salami said that the university launched today the activities of the first profession day, which is a great addition to our students and made job search opportunities available.

Al-Salami concluded by addressing the graduates saying, "Do your duty towards homeland, after the wise leadership has set clear goals, thus shortened the effort and charted the road, and opened the horizons for the generation of the Vision. Moreover, our Governor, Prince Faisal bin Khalid, is always keen on making our city the best. Consequently, we are near to a different summer season in which Abha boasts various activities and programs, in which the university will have a role to match its scientific position and human and material energy.
Al-Salami asked God the Almighty to preserve His Highness the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz and his Crown Prince, and Crown Deputy Prince, may God preserve them.
This was followed by the inauguration of the Profession Day which is organized by the Deanship of Student Service, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Abha.
After that, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Qarni, announced the final results of the graduates and congratulated all the graduates who have been associated with since joining the university until today, wishing them a bright future. He also congratulated the graduates' parents and HRH Prince Faisal bin Khalid saying, "Congratulations to all people in this country and the leadership as we have now educated generation equipped with knowledge. This generation of knowledge, with the spirit of youth, and loyalty to this country, will be building elements that could contribute to advancing the development and growth of this country."
He pointed out that the number of graduates for this year reached (9030) male and female students, of whom 809 were students for the diploma level, 7751 male and female students at the bachelor's level, 470 students in graduate studies; 423 in master's degree and (47) in the doctoral degree.
After that, everyone listened to the graduates' speech delivered by Muhannad Al-Ali, which included many sections about the vision of the Kingdom of 2030. The graduate Muhannad was able, through a work of art to answer many of the questions that revolve in the mind of each graduate about the vision 2030 after an interesting dialogue with the Minister of Education, HE Dr. Ahmed Al-Essa, in his office through a pre-recorded film. HE the Minister explained the importance of the vision and its objectives. He also answered all the questions posed by the graduate, which made the graduate happy with this healing answer. He said, "It is an honor to be the generation of the Vision which definitely will draw our prosperous future as it has wisdom and ambition"
King Khalid University (KKU) has celebrated on Tuesday, 18/06/1436 AH, the 17th batch graduation of the university students.
On the occasion, the General Department of Information Technology offered sincere congratulations to the University graduates - males and females, who are academically armed with knowledge in all its aspects - scientific, theoretical and practical. The Department believes "definitely, the graduating students will contribute to the construction of this nation, wishing them continuous success".
To share the students' joy, the department get prepared to broadcast the event live after Maghrib prayer via the portal of the university. Moreover, the Department of Information Technology sought to activate most of the means of social communications to share with the students the joy of graduation, taking their impressions instantly. The Department also has launched a page to keep in touch with the alumni. This page provides a range of options and all participation and impressions of the students would be viewed through it as well.
