15th Annual Book Fair Comes to a Close

His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad Muhammad Du'ajim, concluded the activities of the 15th Annual Book Fair, which was organized by King Khalid University and represented by the Deanship of Library Affairs at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in Khamis Mushait in the presence of a number of government officials and publishing houses.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Vice Rector Du'ajim thanked His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Asir Region, for his patronage and His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor, who honored the university by launching the book fair. He also thanked His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy for his keenness and support, the Deanship of Library Affairs, and all the participants, agencies and publishing houses.

On the success of the exhibition, the patron of the ceremony praised the distinguished cultural mobility presented and the programs, activities, and guests that accompanied the book fair and exhibition. He stressed that the presence of King Abdulaziz University as a guest of honor, and the participation of different bodies and agencies had a great impact on the book fair and on the number of visitors and attendees. He added, "the large number of visitors witnessed in this book fair is an indicator of the success of the event, which we hope would meet more success in the future." After that, the attendees watched a video entitled 'Views' which displayed the views and opinions of book fair visitors.

Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Nasser, said: "The success of the book fair this year was a result of a combination of efforts from all entities that took part in the event." He then thanked all those who participated in the success of the book fair and the accompanying events.

At the end of the ceremony, Vice Rector Du'ajim honored all participating bodies in the book fair.
