University Rector Visits Abha Tent for Dawah

His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solamy, visited yesterday, Tuesday, July 18, 2017, the Abha Dawah Tent for Tourists. During his visit, Rector Al-Solamy toured the University exhibition, which is also playing a prominent role in the program.

The Executive Director of the Tent, Sheikh Ali Al-Qarafi, received Rector Al-Solamy. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Al-Solamy listened to a detailed explanation about the nature University's participation, presented by the Supervisor of the Pavilion, Dr. Misfer Al-Wad’i.

The involvement of KKU in the exhibition included a presentation of the activities by the Intellectual Awareness Unit covering its most prominent publications and media participations. Furthermore, the University offered free workshops and calligraphy sessions, as well as an exhibition of medical education and mobile clinics to provide consultation and initial services for visitors to the tent.

Al-Solamy reviewed all operations of the program and thanked the participants for their efforts in directing the pavilion in a distinctive way that reflects the University's achievements in various fields. He stressed that the University would spare no effort in doing everything possible to ensure success.

It is worth mentioning that the Intellectual Awareness Unit, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, the Pharmacy School, and the Dentistry School supervised the University’s participation in the program. This highly beneficial event is integral to the continuous community partnership between the University, governmental, and private institutions.
