Student Affairs Announces the Winners of the Poetry Contest
King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, announced the names of the five winners of the "Poetry Contest'' , who also qualify to participate in the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Prize for Arabic Poetry.
The performance competition was held virtually, and the results of the contest were as follows:
1: Abu Bakr Musa Maroun from the College of Humanities won the first place.
2: Abdulaziz Awad Al-Qarni from the College of Medicine won the second place.
3: Abdullah Salem Al-Qaisi from the College of Humanities won the third place.
4: Yazid Yahya Al-Yazidi from the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha won the fourth place.
5: Faisal Salem Jabbar Al-Qaisi from the College of Sciences won the fifth place.
It is noteworthy, that the contest aims to advocate for classical Arabic language, it also aims to discover, support, motivate and honor talented poets, and upgrade the level of understanding Arabic Poetry.
