Cultural competition for Nursing students at the University.

The Faculty of Nursing of King Khalid University held last Wednesday in Abha an entertaining cultural competition for its students. The activity took place at the Theatre of the University Center for Girls' Study, Alsamr, under the supervision of the Dean of the University Center for Girls' Study, Dr. Shanifa Al-Qarni. The contestants displayed their various talents in diction, stage acting, singing, photographing and drawing.

Before the beginning of the ceremony, the dean of the university center had inaugurated accompanying exhibition, which contained photographic and plastic plates. Students -  Wejdan Al-Qahtani, Fawzia Al-Ahmari, Ibtisam Hekmi, Kadah Asiri and Turkia Zaid - participated in the exhibition. After that, the program of the celebration started, which included a lecture from a student, Maram Al-Shahrani, then followed by honoring the outstanding students in the Faculty of Nursing, and finally a display of a play entitled "society's perception of a nurse, male or female."

Competition results were as follows: the 4th grade team won the 1st place in the competitions, the 5th team took the 2nd place, and the 7th grade team was in the 3rd place. In recitation competition, the student - Sarah Al-Shehri - from the Faculty of Medicine, was the winner. At the same time, students -Thabta Alshahrani, Asmaa Al-Fifi and Lulu Al-Qahtani - won the recitation contest. The student Thabta Al-Shahrani also won the best video contest.

On this occasion, the Dean of the University Center honored, at the end of the ceremony, the arbitration Committee, which consisted of the following: the Vice - President of the Nursing Faculty, Dr. Adlyia Tawfiq, Dr. Jehan and Dr. Entesar. Additionally, some members of the faculty staff were honored such as Dr. Mona Abdulmaksoud, Dr. Maytha, Dr. Daulat, besides the students Mashaal Al-Asmari, Merriam Al-Ahmari, Alanood Al-Shahrani, Manal Medawi, Maram Al-Shahrani and Zohra Ah-Ahmari.
