University signs contracts worth more than SR 30 million

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, prof. Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al-Dawoud signed a number of contracts for operation and maintenance of university buildings in various provinces of Asir region.The contracts exceeded SR 30 million.

The contracts included projects pertaining to the maintenance and operation of the buildings in the colleges affiliated to the university in the provinces of Asir region. It is estimated to cost SR 14.9776 million, and to run for for 3 years. Another contract agreement signed is for design and supervision of the implementation of the project to serve electricity to the new university city in Al-Farah. This too, is estimated to cost SR 5 million and to run to the end of the project.

Additionally, another contract worth SR 570.047 was signed to supply and install surveillance cameras, storage devices, and rooms air conditioners. Yet again signed is another contract worth SR 2.08677million, to establish umbrellas at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Bishaen.

Still signed are contracts for the maintenance of microwave oven, computer networks and university faculties valued SR 4975056, to extend to 36 months, and another signed to support the IT under structure project at the University City in Mahayal, with the first phase contract worth SR 2967048.
