King Khalid University and Asir Municipality Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy sponsored the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between the Asir Municipality and King Khalid University. The signing occurred on Wednesday at the International Conference of Semi-Arid Mountain Environments under the aegis of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Asir Governor. Representing the Asir Municipality was Asir Mayor, Dr. Walid Al-Humaidi.
The MoC aims to build partnerships between King Khalid University and the Asir Municipality to contribute to the development of the region. One of the main conditions of the memorandum between the two parties is to encourage the exchange the of scientific and industry best practices in food safety, food security, and public health in accord with applicable rules and regulations.
