On the 12th of Jumādá Al-Ākhirah, the University Student Affairs Agency (Female Students Section) launched a program titled 'Living With Values'. The purpose of this program is to encourage and reinforce living one's daily life in accordance with Islamic moral and cultural values. Using the guiding principles of the Holy Quran, the organizers are building even stronger bonds between and among university students through proper religious education. Efforts such as this help maintain a balanced, orderly and peaceful society. The program also comports with the objectives set forth in Vision 2030.

Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Fatimah Shaban, explained that the 'Values' program falls squarely within the university's mission and role to help enhance a culture of strong moral values in the Kingdom. 'We are preparing our students to become future ambassadors of goodwill and upstanding behavior to all people in our nation and beyond' she said.

Program activities director Ms. Handie Al-Shahrani reiterated that the initiative was to encourage Islamic values and principles both within and without the university system. She noted that King Khalid University is happy to do its part to promote a just, equitable and sustainable society in accordance with the Holy Quran.
