KKUx Platform: Developing and Enhancing Future Skills

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of e-Learning, participated in the 2018 International Conference on Education Evaluation in Riyadh. The conference was held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman ibn Abdulaziz - may Allah preserve him. The conference centered on the latest ideas in future skills development and evaluation. The conference was attended by His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, Vice Rector of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, and Academic Development and Quality Dean, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hajri. Dean Al-Hajri managed a session title 'Influential Leadership in Educational Institutions'.

Dean of e-Learning and General Supervisor of Design, Dr. Fahad Al-Ahmari, delivered a visual presentation on the KKUx platform. He highlighted the university's efforts in developing and enhancing future skills through the platform. Dean Al-Ahmari discussed how the platform works and its main purpose, which is to connect learning outcomes to labor market needs. He concluded his presentation by stressing the value of in-demand skills. Of note, KKUx's web traffic has exceeded 20,000 visitors and is the first of its kind in the Kingdom's higher education field.
