Sheikh Faisal ibn Jameel Ghazzawi Delivers Lecture
His Excellency the University Rector, Dr. Falleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solamy, welcomed His Eminence Sheikh Faisal ibn Jameel Ghazzawi -- May Allah protect him -- to King Khalid University and expressed his ecstatic joy in Sheikh Ghazzawi's visit by relating it will have a positive impact on all members of the community.
Sheikh Ghazzawi delivered a lecture in the College of Shariah and Fundamentals entitled "The Holy Quran's Approach to Guiding Thought." The Intellectual Awareness Unit organized the premier lecture in cooperation with the Ministry For Islamic Affairs, Endowment, Dawa, and Guidance. In his address, Sheikh Ghazzawi highlighted a number of supplications from the Holy Quran that discuss the basic principles of Islamic thought and the realization of the role of Allah through the quest for knowledge obtainment.
This visit comes as part of the Intellectual Awareness Unit programs, which hosts pre-eminent religious figures from the Two Holy Mosques to deliver lectures and speeches in the University.
