The events of the 14th Book and Information Fair were concluded yesterday evening. King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Library Affairs organized the fair, which took place at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in Khamis Mushait. The University's Rector, Prof. Dr. Faleh Al-Solamy and a number of government officials and publishers participating in the Fair attended the closing ceremony.

Al- Solamy said in his speech, "I deeply thank and appreciate those who contributed to the success of the Fair, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Asir Region, and His Highness Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz who had honored the University with his attendance to the event and generous sponsorship. "

Al- Solamy further thanked all those who contributed and participated in the success of this Fair, including the civil and military government agencies, Abha Literary Club, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Abha, the employees of King Saud University, the guest of honor for this year, in addition to the different Publishing houses.

For his part, the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al Nasser said that the 14th Book Fair this year succeeded in linking the remarkable efforts of all, both at the level of the university or at the level of the participation of government agencies and publishing houses.

In his speech on behalf of the participating parties, King Abdullah's Librarian at Abha Literary Club, Ahmed Al-Gharbani, thanked the University for organizing this event, which fulfills the wishes of all segments of society.

At the end of the ceremony, the Rector honored all the participants in the Fair.
