King Khalid University hosts 4 training workshops for the Academic Leadership Center

King Khalid University, represented by Academic Development and Quality Vice-Presidency, is hosting 4 training workshops for its employees and a number of Saudi universities. The workshops are presented by the Academic Leadership Center at the Ministry of Education and supervised by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

The Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Marzan Al Shahrani, explained that the workshops target the academic education of men and women in the region, in addition to the participating universities, which included Bisha University, Najran University, Jazan University and Al Yamamah University. The number of beneficiaries of the workshops is 160 trainees.  Dr. Al Shahrani thanked the King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Dr. Falah bin Rajaa Allah Al Solamy who has agreed to host a selection of academic leaders from various Saudi universities to establish these workshops, which will benefit the academic process at the university and at other participating universities.

For his part, the coordinator of the Academic Leadership Center at the university, who is also the Undersecretary of the Deanship of Development and Quality, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hajri, said that hosting these workshops will complement the cooperation between the Center and the University. He further noted that during the meeting, two training workshops will be presented for men, entitled "Emotional Intelligence of Academic Leaders" Participants reached 80 trainees from 5 Saudi universities. Moreover, there will be other two women's training courses entitled "Leading Women in Higher Education", with 80 trainees from 5 Saudi universities.
