University to organize "Saving Grace" forum

King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, has recently prepared to organize a forum titled "Saving Grace is our responsibility." The forum will be held from 13 to 15 of the next month at the headquarters of the University City in Abha. The forum will also include an accompanying exhibit that will offer the experiences of entities that are going to participate in the forum.

The forum consists of four axes regarding the concept of grace, legitimate point of view for safekeeping, rational use, good practices and successful experiences both locally and internationally in the field of saving grace, and in others, such as in investing the food surplus, the negative effects of food waste, the depletion of the resources of the environment on the individual and on the society, and behavioral and educational programs to promote saving grace with members of the community.

The Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship of the University, Dr. Mubarak bin Said Hamdan, has explained that Deanship had, since the 15th of the last Rabee Al-Awal, received several different applications for participation, including summaries and studies, that will be presented during the days of the forum, in addition to a number of posters. Dr. Hamdan pointed out, "The Forum accompanying exhibition will witness the participation of many charity associations, in addition to a number of government entities"

It is worth mentioning that "Saving the grace" is the first of its kind in the Saudi universities.
