The Vice - Presidency for Development and Quality of King Khalid University has conducted a training course for a number of teaching staff. The event which was entitled "designing and building e-courses" took place in the city of Dubai. The aim of the course is to enable the teaching staff to acquire scientific knowledge and skills regarding designing electronic courses in their various types. The training course was attended by 40 members of the teaching staff - 20 men and 20 women.

On the occasion, the Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hajri, clarified that the course sought to give the trainees many skills, including: the establishment of a website for educational courses, designing a course within its different parts (content - activities - tests - and evaluation), as well as the establishment of content in accordance with the interactive standards, designing interactive e-books, video, and finally managing electronic courses.
