University Council holds its eighth meeting.
His Excellency, the King Khalid University President and the Vice - President of the University Council Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Aldawood has headed the eighth meeting of the University Council.
President Aldawood opened the meeting, then the University Vice - President who is also the Secretary of the Board, Prof. Mari Al-Qahtani went through the agenda of the meeting. First, the Academic Calendar for the year 1436 / 1437 AH was approved. A number of the higher echelons staff of the university were upgraded, in addition to the extension of scholarships for a number of scholars. Furthermore, the Council accepted the donation offered to the university by the Medical Generation firm. The donation was a mobile vehicle dedicated to the dental clinic. The student activity plan for the academic year 1436 / 1437 AH was approved too, in addition to the approval of the plan for doctoral degree in Arabic language, and the restructuring of the editorial boards of the University journals.
