University Opens IELTS Center

King Khalid University held on 6/2/2015 AD the 1st International English Language Testing System (IELTS) for students who wish to complete their studies whether in national or international universities. It is noteworthy that the test has been adopted recently in the University, which became an accredited center for "IELTS."Accreditation came within the framework of the University cooperation with the British Council to serve the community.

The Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Dr. Abdullah Al Melhi stated that the University President was keen on finding an alternative to the TOEFL center as soon as possible. His Excellency, the University President, had a significant role in the completion of this agreement, which saved traveling costs and other inconveniences for those who wanted to perform the test.

It is noteworthy that the University, represented by the Faculty of Languages and Translation has recently signed a strategic partnership with the British Council. The partnership allowed the University to conduct International English Language Testing System (IELTS) for students wishing to continue their studies in national or international universities.
