His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Al dawood praised the endeavors pursued by the Kingdom in its foreign policy, and the wise role being played by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz - may God protect him - in achieving stability in the region in general and in the Gulf House, in particular.

In a statement commenting on the Gulf integrative meeting, which was held recently in Riyadh, Al dawood said, "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has always shown the world that he is the man of hard times and has his own wise visions and insights. Hence the King was able to restore the Gulf House's prestige, unity, and the unification of its words in the most difficult circumstances that surrounded it. The King's wisdom destroyed the plans of corrupt individuals who seek to cause harm to these qualities of the Gulf House." Al dawood added that the King's blessed step closed the page of temporary differences and opened a new page characterized by cooperation for the benefit of the Arab and Islamic nations. Moreover, the King's step proved to the world that the Gulf states are able – God willing - to maintain their cohesion and unity, and that the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) work, will not stop - God willing.  It also sent messages to the whole world that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques puts the interests of the peoples and the region in advance of any temporary differences. The Kingdom - God willing - has been able, and will continue to be able to overcome any problems that may hinder or impede achieving that unity.

At the conclusion of his statement, Al dawood prayed for God the Almighty, to perpetuate His blessings and safety on the region as a whole, and to keep our Gulf in safety, love and glory. He also prayed to Allah to sustain the health and wellness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to keep our country safe, away from the evils of the plotters.
