His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood has launched, today morning, Sunday 23/1/1436 AH, a number of e-Services  which are provided by the Admission and Registration Deanship. The services are: Decision Support service and Automatic Scheduling, in addition to e-Services for the teaching staff and students across the World Wide Webs and Mobile applications.

The Deanship, by providing these services, seeks to develop the academic system at the university. So, it will be able to keep pace with modern technological developments, which will in turn raise the work efficiency and increase production, while at the same time easing the burden on beneficiaries. This will facilitate achieving the most important strategic objective, which is to achieve justice, transparency, excellence, disciplined flexibility, and the delivery of its mission, which is based on the guarantee of equal opportunities, as well as to facilitate the procedures, taking advantage of the possibilities available, in order to reach to a Deanship free from reviewers.

The academic system service-Reporting System is one the most important services that has been introduced. The service provides reports and statistics which contribute accurately and instantaneously to the provision of information to decision makers. So, it will be easy to identify university quality standards. It is noteworthy that, this system is beneficial to the Supreme Administration, the colleges, Heads of Departments, and researchers.

Moreover, the Deanship has provided a service called "Automatic Scheduling" for study timetables and examinations. The new service is characterized by limiting time in the preparation of the university timetables at all stages, in addition to the possibility to displaying timetables on student's page, and on faculty member's page, so that maximum benefit of the classrooms can be achieved through reduced financial costs.

The Deanship also submitted a service called "Academically" for the teaching staff, and all the students. The service strengthens the supportive services, so that students can be reached to meet their academic requirements whenever and wherever. The service also contains two aspects; one of them is concerned with teaching staff and the other with the students. The Deanship also sought to meet all desires, by reaching the largest possible number of beneficiaries through providing mobile app. On this regard, The Deanship released two applications for both the teaching staff and students.

It is noteworthy that it is now possible for the teaching staff to benefit from the application of smart phones to get to the academic system, and to monitor absences directly on the system and dispense the traditional paper-based method.
