King Khalid University held its annual Eid Al Adha celebration at the Tehama and Dhahran Al-Janoub campuses.

 

General Supervisor of the Tehama Campus, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shehri, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Eid Al Adha and the success of the Hajj season. Dean Al-Shehri also congratulated all members and employees of the campus, wishing them a successful year.

 

Dean of the College of Arts and Science, Dr. Misfer Al-Wadie, congratulated the leadership, government and people of Saudi Arabia on the success of this year's Hajj season. He praised the great services, which were provided by the Saudi government to serve the pilgrims, and congratulated the university rector and employees on Eid Al Adha, wishing the university a productive year and continued success.

King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, commended the success of the 1440 AH Hajj season. He congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud on the success of Hajj. He also congratulated Governor of Asir, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and members of the university, asking Allah to return this occasion for many years to come and to grant our county peace and prosperity.

 

Rector Al-Solamy: The Hajj season witnessed great success.

 

During his speech, Rector Al-Solamy stressed importance of motivation in education and how it affects the learning process of students, noting that all university units and departments are to work together to achieve quality outcomes and carry out tasks in a manner that achieves excellence and enables university students to benefit from its programs and services.

 

The ceremony included a poem by Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed Al-Husami and a speech by the scholarship students. They thanked the university for arranging a Hajj camp initiative for 100 scholarship students and allowing them the opportunity to perform Hajj, expressing that the initiative made their dreams come true.

 

Vice Rector of Female Academic Affairs, Dr. Khlood Abu Melha, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Eid Al Adha and the success of the Hajj season. She also congratulated the armed forces on the southern borders on the occasion and thanked them for protecting our country.

On behalf of all faculty and staff, King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and the Muslim nation on Eid Al Adha.

 

Rector Al-Solamy congratulated the King and the Crown Prince for their vision and guidance in leading the national renaissance, noting that this religious holiday comes at a time that our beloved country is blessed with prosperity and a relentless mission to achieve Vision 2030. The Kingdom's objectives as set forth in Vision 2030 will result in world-class organizational structure and governance, total quality management, perpetually increasing productivity, and individual skill and achievement he explained. Much of that can be seen, he explained, in the synchronized efforts implemented to welcome pilgrims and provide the most modern facilities and efficient services possible. "I wish the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia long-lasting peace and success. I ask Allah to protect and grant victory to our armed forces and return them home peacefully," he concluded.

 

While many faculty members have joyously expressed their gratitude, we cannot recount each and every remark. However, senior members of the university offered their messages of gratitude and optimism on this occasion:

 

King Khalid University Vice Rector, Dr. Mohammad Al-Hasoon, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and the Muslim nation on Eid Al Adha. He commended the efforts of the those in authority over the Hajj season and stressed that the Kingdom has devoted all of its efforts towards providing the services needed to ease Hajj. He prayed that Allah grants the Kingdom prosperity and thanked our armed forces for protecting our country.

 

Rector Al-Solamy: This holy occasion comes at a time when Allah has blessed our country with prosperity and development.

 

Vice Rector of Academic and Educational Affairs, Dr. Saad Du'ajim, congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim nation on the Eid Al Adha. He commended this year's Hajj services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding it is a Saudi tradition to devote all efforts to serving the pilgrims and guests of the Two Holy Mosques and to welcome Muslim pilgrims from around the globe. He asked Allah to protect our country, bless our country, and return this happy occasion for many years to come.

 

Vice Rector of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Saad Al-Amry, said: "We thank Allah for his blessings. We congratulate the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and the Muslim nation on Eid Al Adha. In our hearts, we congratulate our armed forces on the southern border and wish peace and prosperity to all Muslims. The services provided during Hajj, and the warm welcome extended to all Muslims around the world to perform Hajj, is a true testament to the vision of our beloved leaders."

 

Vice Rector of Business and Economics, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Hadithi, observed that this a great opportunity to congratulate the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and the Muslim nation on Eid Al Adha. Vice Rector Al-Hadithi added that our county is honored to serve the guests of the Two Holy Mosques and to host the Fifth Pillar of Islam, which is a source of pride and joy, noting that since the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the Saudi Government has devoted all of its efforts towards serving the guests of the Two Holy Mosques.
