University Rector Honors the Winners of the King Salman Award for Holy Quran Memorization

King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, recently met Dean of the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, Dr. Mohammed bin Dhafer Al-Shehri, Vice-Dean of the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Husani, and the winning students Hatem bin Abdullah bin Saad Al-Rayza, third place in the competition's second category, and father of student Khuloud Bint Abdullah Al-Sayari, first place in the competition' fourth category.

 

His Excellency honored our hometown heroes and winners in the Local Competition for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Award for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation for Boys and Girls. The competition was managed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and represented by the General Secretariat of Local and International Holy Quran Competition. Of noteworthy mention, the Secretary General of the Local and International Holy Quran Competition, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Fuhaid, explained that the contestants include 61 boys and 61 girls who competed in five categories.
