"SSAT" holds its first enrichment program in partnership with Aseer Education Department

After the recent approval of the Ministry of Education to establish the Saudi Scientific Association for the teacher "SSAT" at the Faculty of Education at King Khalid University, the Association held on Tuesday the 29th of the last Rajab, the first meeting of the series meetings to enrich the program, in partnership with the Training Department of the General Directorate of Education in Aseer.

The meetings of "Enrichment" program targeted in general subjects' teachers and supervisors in the General Education. The first meeting was directed to chemistry teachers and supervisors in Aseer, in the presence of the representative of the Educational Training Department of the Department of Education in Aseer, Mr. Abdullah Mashdood, and the Head of the Department of Chemistry in Aseer Department of Education, and a number of chemistry teachers and supervisors in the region.

During the meeting, a workshop was held entitled "Let's get chemistry to life", presented by a group of faculty members of the chemistry department. They aimed to enrich their colleagues in the educational field with all that is new in the areas of specialization. The guests also briefed on the department and laboratories of Chemistry of Science Faculty to explore the possibilities and progress of the College and the Department.

For his part, the President of the founding committee of the Saudi Scientific Association for the Teacher "SSAT", who is also the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Abdullah Al Kasey confirmed that the Association seeks to achieve scientific communication for its members, in addition to its contribution to the provision of scientific advice, holding meetings, conducting studies, specialized and research related to the teacher. He pointed out that this meeting is the first step of the program, and the Association will go on holding such meetings, stressing that the second meeting will be in the beginning of the next semester. It will target teachers and supervisors of English, and then many of the disciplines that are available for University educators. Dr. Al Kasey thanked His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy for his continuous support and direct supervision of the establishment of this meeting. He also thanked University Vice-Presidency for the Educational Affairs and all supporters of the university.
