36 scientific paper on the sessions of the first day of the international conference.

The sessions of the conference titled, "teacher and the era of knowledge: opportunities and challenges", which has adopted the slagon "renewed teacher to a changing world", were held. It is known that the conference is organized by King Khalid University, represented by the College of Education, and under the auspices of the Minister of Education, His Excellency, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa. The conference started on 29th of this month. A number of scientific sessions which are related to the conference were held and through which many issues concerning the teacher and education colleges were discussed.

The first session of the conference began with the participation of the Chief Executive of the National Center for Assessment in Higher Education, His Highness, Dr. Faisal bin Abdullah Al Mishari Al Saud, on the subject of professional examinations. The session was about discussing the methods of examination and evaluation.

His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Planning and Information, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Barrak also participated in the same meeting, with a topic about education initiatives in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 'Vision 2030'. Dr. Al-Barrak talked about the future of education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, visions, and aspirations of the educational institutions.

In the second session, Dr. Salem Al Anzi, from the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, presented a scientific paper on the roles of teachers in providing students with safe learning environments in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2030. And in the same session, Dr. Mansour Al-Otaibi, from the University of Najran, submitted a scientific paper entitled the elements of professional development for teachers in the light of the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2030, and their relationship to national identity values.

For his part, the Supervisor General of Education offices Department at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Khalid Al-Asiri, also presented a scientific paper entitled restructuring colleges of education programs in Saudi universities to prepare future teachers in the light of the national transformation program.

The second session was concluded by Dr. Mahmoud Badawi, from Al Mounifia University, who presented a worksheet about the guiding role of the secondary school teacher in the face of the intellectual security challenges.

The third session was initiated by Dr. Khalid bin Awad, from the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud. He presented a scientific paper in which he talked about the development of teacher preparation programs in Saudi universities in the light of international experiences.

Dr. Mahmoud Amer, from Sultan Qaboos University, also submitted a scientific paper entitled integrative model for the preparation of general teacher and the teacher of special education for inclusive education towards the inauguration of re-building of teacher preparation programs in the Arab world. Dr. Abdullah Al Shahrani, from Bisha University, also participated in the third meeting by a worksheet in which he talked about the contribution of teacher preparation institutions in promoting the values of citizenship and belonging. Next was Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa, from the Egyptian Ministry of Education, presented a scientific paper on professional development for teachers of Arabic language through strategic teaching.

In the fourth sessions of the conference, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Humaidan, from King Saud University, spoke on the subject of teaching performance quality standards in the light of the demands of the knowledge economy and the to what extent teachers of social studies are aware of them. Then came the tuorn of Dr. Taher Al-Hadi, from the University of the Suez Canal, who participated with a scientific paper which handled the subject of teacher and change leadership in contemporary Islamic society. there was also Dr. Maan Bin Qasim, from Taibah University, also presented a scientific paper which discussed a proposal for development areas to prepare science teacher in light of the professional development trends to meet the challenges of the knowledge age.

During the same meeting, Mr. Fahd Al-Ghamdi, and Majed Al-Maliki, from the Department of Education in Taif, presented a scientific paper which discussed the high school teacher's role to take advantage of social networks in the educational process in Taif.

The fifth session of the conference was opened by Dr. Mohammed Al Marri, from Zagazig University. Dr. Al Marri presented a scientific paper about the real status of education system of the faculties of education and the requirements of applying these requirements in the light of the developments of the current era. Dr. Abdullah Al-Qahtani, from the Studies and Research Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Riyadh, presented a scientific paper on the values of citizenship in education policy document and the contribution of the teacher in promotion.

At the fifth meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al Rumi, from the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, also presented a scientific paper in which he talked about the values of citizenship and the role of teachers in public education to instill these values in students. In addition, there was a participation from Prof. Mohamed Taha, from the Suez Canal University. He participated with a scientific paper about preparing primary stage teachers for the knowledge society.

At the end of the first day's sessions (the sixth session), Dr. Hossam Eddin Ibrahim, and Mr. Khamis Al Busaidi, from the University of Nizwa, both presented a scientific paper entitled obstacles to professional development for teachers which concentrated on preparatory education schools in North Al Batinah Governorate, Oman.

Dr. Khaled AlKhozim, and Ms. Amal Al-Shammari, from the University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, presented in the same meeting, a scientific paper which dealt with the subject of the training requirements of the computer teachers in Riyadh in the field of mobile education applications of smart devices.

Prof. Abdul Aziz Abdul Hamid, from Mansoura University, presented a scientific paper on educational technology and its role in preparing a renewed teacher for a changing world. As well as, Dr. Ramadan Ahmed, from Beni Suef University, who presented in the sixth session, a scientific paper in which he talked about technical preparation for the teacher of Arabic language and its impact in raising the efficiency of the student response to learning.
