University: alternative solutions to the study of the summer semester

The Spokesman of King Khalid University (KKU) Prof. Fahd bin Tanoma has explained, "After the suspension of the summer semester in all the faculties of King Khalid University, due to recent developments, and in order to ensure the safety of students, the university, after announcing the suspension of the study, is keen to find appropriate solutions for students to complete the summer semester".

The first solution is for the students who are expected to graduate after 12 hours of study or less, and who were enrolled in the summer semester in advance. These students are able to use the e-learning for all subjects that have been recorded, in collaboration with the colleges involved and the Admission and Registration Deanship of e-learning and the university. The university also provided an opportunity for those students who wish to record their subjects in any other Saudi universities. Such students could print a visitor student form from the student's location, then go to the available university. With regard to the rest of the students, they have the option to print the visitor student form and go to any university that has the same course. Another option is to take advantage of the general preparation courses which are available in full e-learning pattern.

Prof. bin Tanoma pointed out that coordination with the majority of the Saudi universities was arranged to receive the students who are expected to graduate, based on the records that will be sent by the Admission and Registration Deanship of King Khalid University.

It is noteworthy that a number of Saudi universities have interacted with King Khalid University to receive students who wish to complete their summer semester. The action is an initiative that reflects the solidarity of the Saudi universities to serve the educational interests of all students.
