Asir Prince's congratulation on the University obtaining the 1st place, according to the QS international organization.
King Khalid University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood received message of congratulations from the Governor of Asir Province, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. The Prince congratulated the University on the occasion of achieving the 1st place locally and being classified among the top 700 global universities, according to the QS international organization.
The ranking organization acknowledged that the development of performance at the university increased 35 ranks, which enabled it to occupy the pole position among the Saudi universities and the 604 in the world.
In his congratulatory message, the Prince stated, "We congratulate the University on achieving this position, hoping it will reflect positively on the development performance level, and the creation of a quantum leap ahead in the educational service field. We appreciate all efforts exerted by Your Excellency, and your colleagues at the university. Definitely, those efforts have had positive impact on achieving the university's core objectives. I would like to greet your Excellency and to extend greetings to all".
On his regard, President Aldawood, on behalf of the university stakeholders, expressed his deepest thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz. Aldawood stated that His Royal Highness - the Asir Prince - "has always been supporting the university in all its activities and programs. Moreover, he - the Prince - always follows up and participates in events and activities of the University. The University renews its covenant to keep moving ahead".
